IIM and BIS chapters at SMMME
School of Minerals, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering announces the formation of two student chapters.
- Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) Student Chapter
BIS Student Chapter was formed on February 5, 2026 with Dr. Miral Verma as the Mentor.
- Indian Institute of Metals (IIM) Student Affiliate Chapter
IIM Student Affiliate Chapter is affiliated to IIM Bhubaneswar Chapter. It was inaugurated by Prof. B.S. Murty, IIM President (2025-26) at a ceremony held at Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) Berhampur on April 11, 2026.
